The Director of Marketing will directly report to the Vice President of Marketing, assuming a pivotal role in facilitating the development, execution, and oversight of comprehensive marketing strategies and initiatives across our affiliated partner companies.
This position is integral to steering our member companies’ marketing transformations, placing a significant focus on using data analytics to monitor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and budget. An essential aspect of this role involves collaborating with each affiliate’s leadership team, aligning their local geography’s marketing and advertising needs with center-led philosophies and best practices. Top candidates will have a proficiency in digital marketing.
Responsibilities: - Develop and execute comprehensive, integrated marketing strategies that support the organization's daily, monthly, and annual goals, including identifying and leveraging key marketing channels and utilizing tools and data to maximize reach and engagement within budget.
- Manage production and implementation of marketing campaigns and channels, including digital, mass media, email, direct mail, print collateral, local sponsorships and events, social media, loyalty programs, and more.
- Coordinate and continuously evaluate marketing vendors and partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to brand standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand and achieve project objectives and improve existing strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive traffic, and generate leads and/or conversions.
- Become an expert on the customer experience journey and identify opportunities to strengthen key customer touchpoints that drive conversion and retention.
- Create and maintain analytics reporting for all marketing channels, extracting key insights for campaign optimization and recommendations to key company stakeholders.
- Monitor marketing performance continuously using tracking data from multiple sources, including Service Titan CRM reporting, website analytics, paid digital campaign reporting, social media metrics, and other marketing platforms and vendor reporting. Based on these insights, make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on the competitive landscape, industry and marketing trends, target audience mindset, emerging technologies and business needs to inform marketing strategy and identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
- Generate efficiencies across our portfolio of companies by looking for opportunities to streamline marketing operations and implement new standards and processes accordingly.
- As the marketing team grows, help train, manage, and lead new team members as appropriate.
Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required (master’s degree preferred).
- Ten (10) or more years of experience in marketing and advertising.
- Proven experience managing integrated marketing campaigns to effectively drive traffic, generate leads, and increase conversions.
- Experience managing marketing budgets, agencies, and staff.
- Well-versed in the analysis and reporting of marketing data.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including experience reporting to upper management and C-suite. Experience in multiple business unit environments is a plus, with a high comfort level influencing multiple stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and verbal/written communication.
- People-first mindset—customers, employees, and shareholders must all be balanced in everything we do.
- Preferred: Experience with Service Titan and/or experience in the home services industry.
- Preferred: Experience with Google Local Service Ads.
