Job description
Shift Info: Pay Grade: New hires would be required to work weekends and would have two weekdays off together. (typically, Tuesday/ Wednesday or Thursday/ Friday) We’re open 7 days a week, 6 am -5:00 pm M-F and 8:00-4:30 on Sat/Sun. Base + commission (starting at $20-21 an hour and then after they go perm, it drops to minimum wage of $16 an hour + commissions) Position Summary: Respond to inbound sales inquiries; place outbound calls to web generated leads. Handle and bring to resolution, inquiries from customers regarding service, billing, or any facet of account. This is a full-time position with weekends required. Job Duties: x Respond to leads with a goal of closing sales for Bay Alarm Medical services x Manage several incoming phone lines and address customer needs as required x Take ownership for saving customers from cancellation, using defined retention tools x Place orders x Maintain database of customer leads and customers x Maintain a process for timely follow up and management of pending leads x Provide excellent customer service x Identify solutions to daily problems x All other miscellaneous responsibilities and other duties as assigned Requirements: x 1-2 years heavy telephone answering skills required. x 1-2 years central station/call center experience preferred, viewing, and evaluating customer logs, scheduling service calls. x 1-2 years inside or outside sales preferred x High School diploma or equivalent required x College degree preferred x Excellent communication skills required x Excellent customer service skills required x Good computer data entry and retrieval skills required x Excellent follow through and problem-solving skills required x Intermediate word processing and basic spreadsheet competence required
