The Position: We are looking for a Transitional Age Youth Peer Specialist , who is willing to embrace McKinley’s mission and H.U.M.A.N values. The Transitional Age Youth Peer Specialist is responsible for providing active, hands-on peer support to transition aged youth (TAY) receiving services at McKinley Children’s Center. Effective TAY support should be friendly, helpful, accessible and flexible. TAY Specialist support may be delivered in individual or group settings at the agency, in family homes or in community environments. TAY Specialists will utilize personal and prior experience of having themselves served in the system to relate to the TAY youth. Provides advocacy and liaison services between the clinician, families, treatment staff, community agencies in order to ensure families are supported through the process of receiving mental health services.

Compensation and Benefits:

The pay range we’re offering is $24.00-$26.00 hourly depending (Based) on experience.
