POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Planning and Analysis team is responsible for capturing, analyzing, forecasting, and reporting key financial data in support of the Clean Products Value Chain (CPVC). This position plays a prominent role in coordinating the development and presentation of annual controllable expense and capital budget data, as well as coordinating and reporting budget vs. actual results each month. Primary responsibilities center around representing BP&A in forecasting and analytical responsibilities for Clean Products. These responsibilities are carried out in support of annual Budget, monthly S&D forecasting, quarterly reporting, and other reporting initiatives. The Advanced Financial Analyst will regularly interface with CPVC managers, and staff, as well as personnel in the BP&A / Controllers organizations. This position will report to a BP&A Supervisor and be based in Findlay, OH or San Antonio, TX.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Represent BP&A in supporting all controllable expense budget and actual reporting. This position will play a key alignment role with our CPVC business partners and long-term Unify solutions.
• Coordinate activity between accounting team and CPVC commercial contacts to report capital spend monthly.
• Serve as primary point of contact for analysis of financial performance within CPVC.
• Provide critical input into all initiatives aimed at elevating visibility and usefulness of our financial data
• Act as intermediary contact between accounting and CPVC Commercial team for questions / investigations as needed into financial results
• Compile monthly/quarterly data and assist in gathering commentary from CPVC business partners to highlight insightful commentary on the operational and commercial drivers underpinning forecast and results
• Support ad-hoc financial and operational analyses
• Provide business continuity support for the BP&A team

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree is required. Majors in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 3-years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required
• High level of proficiency in MS Office applications is required, with priority on Excel
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI) a plus
