Job description
We are seeking an experienced Staff Attorney to join our legal team in three of our offices. We are a non-profit organization that provides legal services to individuals with disabilities and low incomes! In this role you will be responsible for providing representation in a wide variety of areas including Social Security Disability Insurance, Family Law, landlord/tenant matters, reverse mortgage issues, and more. You will be giving a voice to those who need it most! If you have a JD from an accredited law school and are licensed in NJ, we want to talk to you!
As a successful candidate you will be responsible for handling a wide variety of advocacy and legal services associated with Family Law, Supplemental Security Income, Medicaid and Medicare, Welfare/SNAAP, personal care assistance, consumer issues, guardianships, etc.
To be considered for this role, you must have a JD from an accredited law school and be Barred in NJ.
A history of skills in legal analysis and advocacy work.
Have a dedicated interest in legal issues that affect people with low income and disabilities.
In this position we offer a competitive salary between $60,000 and $80,000 annually. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental.
