The Rady School's values are excellence, innovation, collaboration and integrity. The staff who work at the Rady School have created a highly participatory, high energy, upbeat environment where providing excellent customer service to our students and our faculty is a priority.

This Associate Director of Career Coaching is located at the Rady School of Management Career Management Center focusing on the needs of graduate business students.

This position coaches students/alumni on a full range of career and professional development opportunities, including individual or group coaching, career planning, setting career goals, decision-making, and improving career capabilities. This position provides a holistic approach to student/alumni career coaching (including customized services for specific populations such as Masters programs in Finance, Business Analytics, Professional Accountancy, and MBA students). The focus of this position is career coaching and career development, including creating and facilitating workshops and presentations.

The Associate Director will work closely with Rady Career Management Center Senior Associate Directors and the Executive Director to develop scalable programs and interventions that engage students in career design, experiential learning, alumni and employer connections, and transferable skill/core competency development. The Associate Director develops a "hub" of connections as an informed connector that empowers students and alumni.

The position partners with academic program managers to create strategies to reach employment goals, provides direct group and individual career coaching, independently creates and delivers new programming content based on industry/employment trends and meticulously collects data on employment outcomes.

The Associate Director promotes student engagement by collaborating with Rady academic executive directors and academic departments, Rady graduate student affairs and student organizations/clubs, Rady School admissions & recruiters, and other UCSD and UC career communities to ensure graduate students meet career goals.
