Job description

Prime Response Inc. (PRI) is seeking a fulltime Transportation Manager to provide logistics base supply support at NASA in Langley VA for a possible upcoming longterm government contract.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Provide fulltime onsite management of all transportation activities in accordance with the Performance Work Statement and government policies.
  
• Analyze develop and maintain policies and procedures for the proper execution of transportation functions including freight and passenger ground transportation shipping and fleet management.
  
• Lead the driver and maintenance technician qualification and training program.
  
• Keep up with regulatory requirements and alter work processes to ensure compliance.
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience required.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated logistics leadership and managerial experience.
  
• Experience in a military/government/other highlyregulated work environment
  
• Must have strong organizational skills and ability to multitask along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
