Job description
Propio Language Services is transforming communication by developing tools and technologies that make it easier and more efficient for clients to engage with the Limited English Proficiency Population to improve access to healthcare and essential services in social services, education, legal, and many others.
Propio is rapidly growing and is looking to hire a highly motivated
Learning and Development Manager to join our team. The Learning and Development Manager will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and overseeing the learning and development initiatives within the organization. This position will collaborate with various departments to identify training needs, develop effective learning programs, and ensure the continuous professional development of our employees.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct needs assessments to identify skills gaps and training needs across the organization.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging and relevant training content.
- Manage the learning management system (LMS) and ensure the effective tracking and reporting of employee training activities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in learning and development to enhance the organization's capabilities.
- Provide coaching and support to employees to foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Partner with HR to integrate learning and development initiatives into performance management processes.
- Monitor and manage the training budget to ensure cost-effective learning solutions.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Learning and Development Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with learning management systems and e-learning platforms.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Certification in training and development (e.g., CPLP, CPTM) is a plus.
