UPM Naperville is looking for a Business Support Specialist who will be responsible for providing user support for UPM's North American Supply Chain systems. Systems include Sell-it, PTDi, Move-it, Customer Online and Deal Manager. This position routinely works across multiple systems and reconciles data to ensure accurate information.

What you will do
Provide support for primary supply chain systems in North America which include Sell it, PTDi, Move it, Customer Online and Deal Manager. Also support the region's Finance function as it relates to Sell it and Move it
Provide support for secondary UPM systems including Clear it, SCCT, Nodenite, Plan it and external EDI systems such as Ponton, Nextier and Paper Manager
Improve business productivity by reducing system inefficiencies, standardizing processes, and implementing new ways of working and providing training as it relates to system utilization
Proactively mine data across systems to ensure data consistency
Participate in testing to ensure a smooth transition at point of implementation to minimize the business impact of system changes and lead communication related efforts
Collaborate with internal partners including within supply chain, finance, and IT to identify and troubleshoot system issues to properly resolve
Ongoing development and maintenance of metrics that articulate system inefficiencies
Other duties as assigned such as Rebates, Agent Commissions, and Key User for rates, routes, and freight payables
Who you are
You have a bachelor's degree in a related field or can demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge via your work experience
You have 3 to 5 years IT experience specifically within an order fulfillment environment
You have a comprehensive working knowledge related to ERP systems
You are an effective communicator including with internal, cross-functional teams as well as with external partners
You can develop initiatives and make decisions in a collaborative manner
You show enthusiasm for renewal and change

The sales organization is comprised of external sales and technical customer service. The regional Supply Chain organization consists of customer service, planning, logistics and analytics. These teams are responsible for selling and servicing both locally made and imported paper.
