WHAT YOU DO AS AN OVERNIGHT ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR

You're the driving force behind our production team. Teaming up with the team leader, you're the go-to source for employees, providing them with tools, information, and support to conquer production goals. Safety is more than just a buzzword to you-it's a commitment. You maintain a secure working environment, staying vigilant about the plant's conditions and promptly reporting any concerns to the Team Leader. You enjoy implementing process changes alongside your partner in leadership.

Creating a workplace where everyone feels heard and valued is your forte. You're approachable and attentive, from training and performance reviews to discipline and constructive feedback. Your unwavering focus on quality prevents any issues from leaving the facility. In essence, you're a leader who not only upholds company policies but also elevates morale, safety, and pride to new heights, making your team's success a collective achievement!

REQUIREMENTS

The knowledge and skills needed for the position are:

• High school diploma
• Supervisory experience in the manufacturing industry
• 2+ years of related technical experience or 2+ years of on-the-job training
• Completion of all four of NPP's Internal Skills Enhancement Certification programs
• Strong working knowledge of the plastics manufacturing production process, extrusion machinery, and related quality requirements
• Strong working knowledge of the equipment, materials, methods, and practices used in plastics manufacturing and extrusion operations.
