Aerotek is hiring for a Mechanical Assembler. This position offers full benefits (health, vision, dental, 401k, & more)

Description:

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling manufactured parts and subassemblies. The assembler will be working independently to produce finished units. Units must be tested for quality & inspected visually after assembly. The technician is responsible for recording measurements and working with engineers to verify drawings, and produce finished units.

Additional Skills/Qualifications:

+ High Mechanical Aptitude; Ability to effectively use hand & power tools

+ Ability to think critically, read & interpret drawings/blueprints & assembly instructions

+ Ability to use precision measuring instruments (Micrometers, Calipers, Gauges)

+ Verify specifications by measuring completed components

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Employees will be on feet for duration of the shift

+ Basic math skills

Shift: Monday-Friday (Day Shift)

Pay: $25.00-30.00/hour (based on experience)
