Mission of the Bureau of Family and Community Outreach

The mission of the Bureau of Family and Community Outreach is to provide programmatic, administrative and fiscal support to the Department’s grant projects that are awarded through competition or appropriation. The Bureau reaches out to serve Florida's students, families and communities through mentoring and student assistance initiatives; school and instructional enhancement state grants; the College Reach Out Program (CROP); the Florida Partnership for Underrepresented Students and the federally-funded Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) program.

Job Description

The employee in this position serves as the personnel liaison for the Bureau of Family and Community Outreach , serving as the direct support to the bureau chief and the support to three directors who manage the following program areas: Family and Community Engagement, Pre-Collegiate Programs and 21st Century Community Learning Centers. All program offices will have reports and/or communications that must be prepared and routed for approval.
