Job description
Atlantic Staffing Consultants specializes in helping candidates find job opportunities in the logistics, manufacturing, construction, medical, administrative, and customer service industries. We seek a part-time staffing assistant to work on-site in our Raleigh, NC, office . This position requires twenty (20) hours per week and four (4) hours daily between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m . We are flexible with the daily schedule as long as you can commit to working four (4) hours daily. We pay weekly on Fridays.
Duties/Responsibilities of a Staffing Assistant:
Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to appropriately collect and file all required documents.
Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
Provides clerical support to the Raleigh and Wilmington offices.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities of a Staffing Assistant:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Google Workspace or related software.
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant tracking systems (ATS), human resource information systems (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
Education and Experience of a Staffing Assistant:
Prior related office experience in an HR department is preferred.
Physical Requirements of a Staffing Assistant:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Pay:
$15-$17/per hour
