Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelors or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree.


CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

As a Sr Systems Engineering Support Specialist you will collaborate with the engineering leaders and program team to facilitate the implementation of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) system/AGILE System and other key organizational tasking. You will also ensure the successful development and completion of contractual milestones.

The ideal candidate has relationships with Cost Account Managers (CAMs), Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, Program Manager, Technical Managers and Deputy Program Manager for Engineering (DPME). You will be a data driven individual who is proficient with tools such as Microsoft Excel. Day to day tasks include using formulas, pivot tables, macros, and databases. As the Sr Systems Engineering Support Specialist / Program Support Specialist you will understand and assist with the earned value inputs received each month. You must be comfortable in a constantly changing environment due to the fact we are trying to improve capabilities. You will Develop and maintain weekly and monthly reports updating EVMS metrics, maintain program staffing and assist in onboarding new personnel and Maintain documentation related to the Headcount Forecast Tool (HFT) process. You will also integrate risk and opportunity profiles into workload demand, drive a consistent monthly business rhythm with multiple stakeholders and attend weekly EVMS meetings. You will also be asked to capture action items and track to closure, analyze program charging data on a weekly basis and maintain high-level Microsoft Project files. Additionally, you will work with the Program teams to perform program authorization activities.

After a training period, youll be able to work without appreciable direction and provides resolution to a diverse range of complex issues which require the use of ingenuity and creativity. Contributions to the achievement of business objectives, development of new theories and methods are rewarded as a pay-for-performance organization.

Desired attributes for this role are a strong ability to multitask and utilize creative thinking and networking skills to solve issues. A strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications as well as strong written and verbal communications skills. Demonstrated ability to get buy-in on concepts and ideas and effectiveness in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions. A strong understanding of basic project leadership principles including SPI/CPI, Earned Value (EVM), Cost Account Management (CAM), and Statistical Process Controls are a must .

NOTE: This position will allow for Flex/Hybrid Workplace Options but you must be based out of the Pittsfield, MA office. Relocation assistance may be available.

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $78,032.60 - USD $84,433.70 /Yr.
