Position: NeoGov/HCM Programmer Analyst
Location: San Bernardino, CA
Contract Duration: 1 to 2 years (renewed annually).
Pay rate: $70/hr.-$75/hr.
Daily Work Schedule: ONSITE at the beginning required to report in office in San Bernardino (157 W. 5th Street) on a daily basis the first 3 months. (possibility for limited remote work in latter phases of the project).
Overview:
HCM Programmer Analyst (Contract)
Programmer Analyst with experience integrating 3rd party recruiting systems into a PeopleSoft environment. The candidate will participate in systems analysis, application architecture, systems design and development, database design, and applications programming. Contractor will be assigned to the team to partner with Human Resources to implement on-boarding integrations between the client's recruiting system and PeopleSoft.
The position requires an expert understanding of the PeopleSoft hiring processes as well as experience with the PeopleSoft suite of development products (Application Designer, SQR, Application Engine, SQL etc.) and familiarity with all phases of the SDLC.
Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing and testing HCM application involving new features and functionality from functional requirements.
- Maintenance, support, design, development, and implementation of HCM application.
- Developing and maintaining applications and modules related to employee on-boarding.
- Database design in Oracle, SQL and formulating advanced SQL queries
- Developing new and maintaining existing Database ETL processes and reports.
- Good communication skills, ability to work independently and in team environment, and communicate with clients.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills; ability to handle changes in business requirements and set priorities across multiple projects.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient with PeopleSoft development suite - Application Designer, SQR, Application Engine, AWE, Query, etc.
- Expert knowledge of PeopleSoft on-boarding processes.
- Advanced PeopleCode experience.
- Experience with Application Packages, Component Interface, Fluid Development, HTML5, and CSS.
- Experience selectively adopting bug fixes and new features from PUM Images.
- Experience reducing customizations by use of Event Mapping and Drop Zones.
- Advanced SQL experience on an Oracle database.
- Strong understanding of SDLC.
- Familiar with various design, architectural patterns, and HCM frameworks.
- Ability to write clean, readable, modular, scalable and easily maintainable code with proper technical documentation.
- Understanding of code versioning tools.
- Troubleshooting, analytical skills and excellent communication skills.
- Experience integrating 3rd party recruiting systems into a PeopleSoft environment
Experience and Education:
- Information Management, Computer Science, or any closely related field with at least 5 years' working experience using PeopleSoft, SQL and SQR. An equivalent combination of experience, education and training will be considered.
