Job description
Are you an experienced and collaborative product marketing manager? If so, you've come to the right place! This position is located in beautiful Oregon and offers the flexibility of hybrid or onsite work at our client's Portland office. Responsibilities :
- Build awareness of our client's offerings and help connect the organization with the curriculum market. Conduct research to shape our plans and decisions.
- Gather, organize, and analyze competitor and market data to become well-versed in the elementary math education market.
- Identify target audiences and create marketing plans to promote key products and services through various channels and segments.
- Collaborate with internal experts to develop profiles, positioning, and strategies for important products and services. Emphasize the unique qualities of our products in the market through compelling messaging.
- Work closely with the Director of Communications to create and deliver marketing materials and assets that align with our brand, strategy, and voice.
- Provide support and participate in conferences/trade shows where the organization is represented, which may involve occasional out-of-state travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in product management marketing.
- Preferably, experience in an education organization.
- Willingness to travel nationally up to 10% of the time to represent the organization at trade shows and conferences.
- Demonstrated competence in leading successful marketing campaigns.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and digital communication skills.
- Effective project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects efficiently.
- Well-developed professional skills in problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and organization.
- Proven track record of delivering reliable results by demonstrating key behavioral skills, including follow-through, initiative, timeliness, and flexibility.
