Aircraft Structural Mechanic/Assembler
Opportunity in Charleston, South Carolina

Job responsibilities :
• Perform routine production assembly operations on aircraft components using manual operations.
• Select correct parts, materials, tools, and assemblies based on standards and engineering prints.
• Drill, shim, install, fit, fasten, align, and adjust structural components for installation.
• Report job constraints and defects, and perform necessary repairs and rework.
• Read and understand blueprints, drawings, and engineering instructions.
• Prioritize safety, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to Foreign Object Debris (FOD) standards.
• Basic understanding of computer systems and programs.
• Obtain & maintain training certifications as required to support assignment responsibilities.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, and work in elevated and/or confined spaces as required.
Qualifications:
• Diploma
• 2+ years of aircraft sheet metal experience
• MRO/hangar experience preferred
• No tools required
Work Environment:
• Indoor hangar environment
• Climate controlled
Shift & Pay:
• Variable Shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd as needed); must be available for any assigned shift.
• $25/hr. - $28/ hr.
