Medical specialties:
LPN Charge Nurses on our Skilled Nursing Team work 12 hour shifts and requires a current North Carolina LPN license. We welcome new LPN graduates.
Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing basic IV therapy, and assisting with procedures such as wound care. - Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team. - Implement infection control measures to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients. - Provide specialized care for infants and neonates, including neonatal ventilator management and infant care. - Assist with airway management and provide support during emergency situations. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement health plans for patients. - Ensure accurate documentation of patient information
Qualifications: - Valid LPN license in the state of North Carolina. - Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices, including infection control. - Experience in geriatrics preferred. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team. - Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
