Job Title: Mechanical CAD Designer

Job Description:
- We are searching for a detail-oriented, dependable, experienced engineering CAD designer or technician to join our growing team.
- The candidate will collaborate with other engineering professionals and should be able to make useful recommendations when appropriate.
Responsibility
- Operate and monitor additive manufacturing (3D-printing) systems and other laboratory equipment
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Manage lab supplies and order replacement parts
- Write standard operating procedure (SOP)
- Follow test plans and execute experimental tests.
- Record data, write reports and communicate results
- Maintain lab safety and always work safely.
Required Background
- High school diploma minimum. Engineering technical degree is a plus
- Working experience as an engineering CAD designer or technician with extensive skills in mechanical equipment and systems and ability to repair equipment.
- Communication skills.
- Computer skills: CAD modeling experience is a plus.
- Nice to have 3D printing experience, military veteran background.
