Job description
AEVEX is actively recruiting an experienced leader to manage and develop our Business Systems team. This leader and their team will be responsible for planning, implementing, caring, and feeding for the company's business systems. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing an in-flight ERP transition and will have a role in building their team. This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
Essential Functions:
- Shapes the future state of enterprise-wide business systems and drives the successful implementation of those business systems
- Leads the daily operations of the Business Systems Team ensuring proper functioning and performance of all AEVEX Business Systems
- Manages integrations and data flows between business system applications.
- Works collaboratively with internal teams including Finance, Program Management, HR, Business Development, Contracts, Procurement, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to gather requirements for improvement projects and then execute those projects
- Creates, updates, and documents process workflows, identifies gaps and weaknesses in existing processes and recommends actionable solutions to address those and future needs
- Works collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders across the business to provide support and updates to systems and processes
- As the liaison between users of business systems and information systems technical staff: interpret needs into specifications for system implementation, plan and coordinate processing schedules, develop and modify reports, establish priorities for task completion, and define/modify/update interfaces between other internal and external computer systems
- Managing and evaluating new business applications and third-party suppliers for manufacturing and services-related business
- Monitor platforms and system performance including proactively identifying and working with the software providers to improve system process.
- Manages business system vendors to ensure receipt of proper services and application performance
- Generate and manage various management reports, status reports, and system assessment reports
- "Go to" for all SOPs for business systems; updates and maintains all necessary documentation
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Excellent general knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / Material Resource Planning (MRP) platform capabilities as applied to typical business functions of a manufacturing company
- Hands-on experience with INFOR Cloud suite ERP
- Excellent at learning, navigating, and managing different platforms that serve different aspects of the business
- Demonstrated knowledge of Business Intelligence as used to support corporate business functions including Finance and Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, inventory management, material planning, and forecasting in a manufacturing business
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills: ability to mediate between different constituents to solve challenges
- Proven ability for writing and documenting SOPs
- Analytical and solution-minded, and takes initiative without direction
- Critical thinking, problem-solving techniques, decision-making skills, and a proactive approach
- Prior experience managing a Business Systems team
- High energy and Positive Attitude
- Extremely organized and demonstrated the ability to work on several projects simultaneously
- Works well under pressure

- 10+ years prior "hands-on" experience delivering business systems solutions with a preference for experience in the DoD/Federal government contractor business or as a key member of a delivery team for vendors such as Infor (LN / Cloud Suite Aerospace & Defense) or equivalent system
- IT Infrastructure, cloud platform (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and network experience are a plus
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.
