Job description
Sr. Electrochemical Engineer Location Los Angeles, CA : The Sr. Electrochemical Engineer will conduct research and development in the areas of electrochemical design and pilot plant construction and operation. Responsibilities include electrochemical reactor development from cell architecture design to life cycle testing and scaling prototypes from bench- to field-scale. They will support plant-level design to deliver successful, on-time delivery of projects, including efforts towards code compliance. Percentage of Time: 100 Shift Start: 9:00 am Shift End: 6:00 pm Qualifications for Position 8 Records Qualifications Required/Preferred Excellent technical and analytical skills related to electrochemistry and more specifically, electrochemical devices, such as electrolyzers or flow cells. Required Ability to create laboratory protocols, weekly reports, presentations, and publications. Required Demonstrated communication skills to explain procedures and impart technical and safety information to others in an understandable manner. Required Ability to work independently, organize, prioritize, and complete multiple projects in a detail-oriented, timely manner Required Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in leading research and development or technical strategy in process or energy Required Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
