Job description

Highprofile joint venture seeks a Director of Facilities with at least five years of experience in a campus environment. Must be able to build strong client relationships and have advanced HVAC experience and a demonstrated history of managing deferred maintenance projects.



The Director is responsible for overseeing the facilities maintenance operations in a campus environment. Must be able to create and maintain a safe and efficient working environment.



Candidates should have a high level of financial acumen and capital planning experience. Handson leader will develop and build the team as well as develop partnerships with clients by analyzing and forecasting financial results and optimizing all systems.





Qualifications for this role include:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Must have proven experience working in a campus environment as a facility manager.
• Must have strong technical knowledge of mechanical electrical plumbing HVAC safety systems landscape (synthetic turf) and energy management.
• P&L management understanding and experience. The client wants a strong understanding of capital budgets.
• Experience overseeing construction projects is required.
• Exceptional leadership and staff development experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship building expertise.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is desired.
• Certified facilities Manager (CFM) is a plus.
