Job description

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for checking and loading up to 16 stores with product staged the previous night. Responsible for pulling Meat, Deli, & Bakery orders as necessary. Responsible for checking packing slips before loading product. Report discrepancies to office before loading product. Palletize product as needed. Unloading trailers coming back from stores. Receiving product other that produce. Pull dry goods orders daily. Responsible for putting all containers (pallets, & cardboard bales) away. Pull produce orders out of produce coolers as per packing slips. Palletize product as it is pulled.

Position Requirements

• While performing the duties of his/her job, the employee is regularly required to walk, bend and crouch up to 8 hours.
• Use both hands and arms to handle product, and material handling equipment controls (jacks, dollies, & forklifts).
• Be able to lift up to 100 lbs and to pull up to 3,500 lbs with a manual jack.
• Must be able to read and understand order sheets.
• Be able to operate power jacks and sit down forklifts.
• Able to work in refrigerated areas such as coolers and refrigerated trailers up to 30 minutes.
• Be able to perform a daily equipment safety check.
• Comply with all local, State and Federal Health and Civil code regulations.
