Job description

As a Remote Cruise Advisor & Specialist you will be responsible for creating unforgettable cruise experiences for our clients. Your role involves extensive knowledge of cruise itineraries destinations and cruise lines as well as excellent customer service skills. You will work closely with clients to understand their preferences provide expert advice and coordinate all aspects of their cruise vacations.

Responsibilities:

Client Consultation:

Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their preferences budget and expectations.

Provide expert advice on cruise destinations itineraries and cruise lines.

Booking and Reservations:

Research and book cruise packages based on client preferences and budget.

Handle cruise reservations including accommodation dining and onboard activities.

Product Knowledge:

Stay uptodate with the latest cruise industry trends new ships and travel regulations.

Build and maintain indepth knowledge of various cruise lines ships and itineraries.

Customer Service:

Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries and concerns.

Assist clients with pre and postcruise arrangements including transportation and excursions.

Documentation and Logistics:

Ensure accurate and timely completion of all documentation required for cruise travel.

Coordinate logistics such as transportation to and from the cruise port travel insurance and necessary visas.

Sales:

Actively promote and upsell additional services such as shore excursions specialty dining and onboard packages.

Collaboration:

Work closely with cruise line representatives and suppliers.

PostTrip FollowUp:

Conduct posttrip followups with clients to gather feedback and address any concerns.

Maintain longterm relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Cruise Specialist or in a similar role within the travel industry.

Indepth knowledge of various cruise lines ships and popular cruise destinations.

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Detailoriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Passion for travel and a willingness to stay informed about industry trends.

Education and Qualifications:

Certifications in travel and tourism provided (e.g. Certified Travel)

Knowledge of Destinations: Stay up-to-date with travel trends and destinations, providing clients with valuable information and recommendations. Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel suppliers, such as airlines, hotels, cruise lines, and tour operators. Pricing and Cost Analysis: Provide clients with transparent pricing information and cost breakdowns for their travel packages. Documentation: Assist clients in completing necessary travel documents, such as visas, passports, and travel insurance. Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally. Sales and Marketing: Promote travel packages and special offers to clients, potentially generating new business through referrals and marketing efforts. Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies, including ethical and legal standards. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized client records, booking details, and financial transactions.
