Job description
Fairview is expanding! This exciting redevelopment is planned for the heart of the existing 70-acre, waterfront campus and we are seeking experienced, hospitality-minded individuals to join the Sales and Marketing Team for this dynamic community in Groton, CT.
The Director is responsible for managing the people, processes, and programs of the Expansion community sales office. This effort includes both implementing and monitoring measurable sales goals for calls, appointments, event attendance, deposits, occupancy levels and revenue generation for the community. The Director is responsible for communicating the sales and marketing goals to the sales team and emphasizing the importance of creating a positive sales culture and customer experience that inspires prospects to want to move to the community.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations or related field
- On the job training in sales within a continuing care retirement community, including problem-solving and sales techniques
- Three to five years’ successful sales experience in senior living and experience as a sales manager, utilizing a lead management system/CRM
- Ability to cultivate relationships and build rapport with potential residents, to include proficiency in telephone contact and follow up, lead management, and closing skills
- Ability to build excitement for a future community
- Excellent hospitality and customer service standards
- Experience in a Customer Relationship Management database is preferred
- Ability to maintain detailed records and have solid computer skills
- Ability to achieve and sustain the quality and quantity of leads and referrals
- Must have strong organizational skills and the desire to lead
- Must be independent and self-motivated to achieve high goals
