Requirements:
Education: AS (Associate in Science) degree or higher.
Experience: Minimum one year of related experience and/or training preferred/Internships.
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and standard computer software.
Basic mechanical ability and understanding of equipment maintenance.
Ability to operate and troubleshoot equipment.
The anticipated wage for this position is between $18 and $20. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
Schedule : Monday-Friday Shift (approx. 8am-5pm)
In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in supporting domestic and international researchers by ensuring the provision of accurate information and materials for various projects.
Material Management and Logistics
Oversee the inventory of research materials.
Process material requests efficiently and accurately.
Seed
Proteins
Plants
Tissue
Ensure compliance with established ISO Quality Standards.
Manage day-to-day operations, including shipping/receiving and workspace maintenance.
Seed counting
Sample preparation
Greenhouse work
Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure a smooth workflow.
General lab equipment
Seed grinder
Autoclave
Temperature/Humidity monitoring system
Power industrial trucks
Seed counters
Conduct data entry tasks with precision.
Process materials in the lab, adhering to established protocols.
Handle material cooler storage and maintain cold storage rooms.
