AlediumHR , the leading expert in Direct Hire Healthcare Recruiting, is actively searching for a passionate Human Resources Director to join our client in Florence, Alabama. This is a remarkable opportunity to significantly impact the organization, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
As the Human Resources Director, you will play a vital role in overseeing and administering all aspects of the human resources function across the organization. Your responsibilities will encompass employee relations, recruitment and retention, benefits administration, workers' compensation, and ensuring alignment with the parent health system.
By providing exceptional leadership and guidance, you will ensure compliance with established objectives, optimize quality outcomes, and deliver cost-effective healthcare services. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor staff and provide direction to the HR leader, fostering professional growth and development.
Supervisory Responsibility:
In this role, you will have the privilege of supervising the talented human resources team across multiple facilities. As the director, you will guide and coordinate two or more departments through subordinate department managers.
You will play a critical role in reviewing and evaluating department performance while establishing long-term goals and objectives. Additionally, you will have the authority to review, evaluate, and approve training and development objectives and programs.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree is a requirement.
- Minimum of 2 years of human resources experience in a hospital setting is required, while 5 years of experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to Human Resources, such as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Affirmative Action, ADA, and FMLA.
Preferred Requirements:
- Master's Degree.
- Seven to ten years of experience in the Human Resources field.
- Healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
