Area Sales Manager






Location: Houston or San Antonio TX (Remote).


Travel: 50% to 75%.


Status: W2 (Must be a US Citizen).

Report To: This is a remote position based in Texas reporting to the US Sales Director out of Charlotte NC.



Preferred Skills : Aggregate understanding and strong knowledge of mining concepts.





Description : The Area Sales Manager is responsible for managing sales support and service for all products to all clients within the defined territory in accordance with company policies and procedures. They will have broad indepth knowledge of the products and the markets a basic understanding of commercial terms and conditions and strong negotiation skills.



Responsibilities :





Focus Area: Prepare territory plans and estimates reporting weekly on orders and activities while visiting customers as per the call plan.
Focus Area: Manage quotations/tenders administer orders and develop key account relationships to meet or surpass order targets.
Focus Area: Proactively prospect new business monitor competitors manage local representatives/distribution companies and identify solutions for product or process quality issues.
Focus Area: Maintain records via Salesforce promote a customerfocused attitude communicate effectively with the Regional Sales Director and adhere to company policies and procedures while handling special projects as needed.
