Job description

Safe Haven Drop-in Center is a low-barrier program designed to support individuals engaged in active substance use and who are often homeless. We use a harm reduction, trauma-informed, person-centered approach, delivering services in a manner that recognizes the inherent dignity of all persons. Services include providing a safe space to rest, distribution of food, clothing, personal hygiene products, and survival items. Rescue and Harm reduction supplies are distributed.

The Team Leader is a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (or is working towards this certification). They are responsible for daily oversight of the Drop-in Center, which operates Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 4:00. Our goal is to expand these hours to nights and weekends by building a strong peer team.
