Job description
I.K. Hofmann USA has immediate openings for Quality Inspectors to work on-site with our client located in Griffin, GA.
Job Summary
Perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of materials, parts, and components used in manufacturing and assembly in a plant setting.
Responsibilities:
o Assembling wires and cables
o Use mechanical hand tools
o Tightening Screws
Qualifications and Skills:
o High School Diploma or equivalent
o Must have good English written and verbal communication skills
o Good arithmetic skills are required
o Mechanical aptitude desired
o Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Minimum Essential Requirements:
o While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
o Must be able to lift and carry material up to 50 pounds.
o The person in this position frequently communicates with management and engineers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Work Environment:
o Are exposed to equipment, such as power tools, on a daily basis.
o Work near others. They often share the same workspace.
Pay Rate:
$17.00 an hour
6:00am- 3:30pm
Monday to Friday
*Must be available to work overtime**
