Job description
Midland Care is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team on a full-time basis.
Summary:
The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout our facilities. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for employees and visitors. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and committed to providing a high level of cleanliness and satisfaction.
Employment Status: Full Time | Tue - Sat, 8a-5p
Pay Rate $13+/hour (pay is based on requirements and like experience)
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize assigned rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining clean bathrooms.
- Clean and organize common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, and lounges, to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste according to company policies.
- Restock supplies, including toiletries, towels, and linens, in guest rooms and common areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department for resolution.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for housekeeping services and ensure their satisfaction.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and using cleaning chemicals properly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing of linens and towels.

Qualifications
Required: Must possess a valid Kansas Driver’s License, in force automobile liability insurance and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organization’s insurability standard as defined by Midland policy. Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position.
Preferred: A minimum of two years working experience in a custodial service-based position with experience in custodial cleaning facilities. Able to operate custodial/janitorial equipment such as buffers, carpet cleaners, floor strippers and other applicable cleaning equipment to maintain the cleanliness of the facility.
