Responsibilities

Are you an experienced Quality Assurance leader passionate about supporting hospital excellence and improvement? Palmetto Behavioral Health is looking for you! We are currently recruiting for a Director of Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI)

Position Summary:

The Director of QAPI is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the facility-wide quality management assessment and quality performance improvement program, ensuring the facility’s programs are in compliance with all regulatory agencies, Joint Commission, CMS, and all other state and federal agencies. The Director of Quality Improvement is responsible for staff training and education on the hospital’s performance initiatives and measures including outcomes measurement and reporting.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's degree in business or related field required

Experience : QA/PI or clinical experience required

Licensure/Certificatio n: CPR required; CPI certification required.

HIPAA : Has access to Medical Records of cases to which they are assigned work, for quality compliance and risk related issues. Use of PHI is for purposes of Healthcare Operations.
