Job Summary/Basic Function:

About This Role:

Perform business analysis for university leadership focused on, but not limited to, revenue-generating services to promote collaboration, transparency, optimizing financial agreements, and forecasting financial outcomes to new business proposals or contract amendments that support university goals. This position involves working closely with various departments, vendors, and stakeholders to facilitate the creation, negotiation, and maintenance of contracts related to financial transactions or projects.

What You’ll Do – Position Responsibilities

  • Serve as financial liaison for university business partners and university constituents to facilitate transparency, communication, and compliance. | 30%
  • Coordinates the development, analysis, and review of financial data and applicable business, financial, and/or regulatory plans. | 20%
  • Advise university leadership and stakeholders of financial outcomes to new business proposals or amendments; including enhancement recommendations to current revenue streams within contractual scope. | 15%
  • Establish regular correspondence and meetings with university business representatives and vendors to address financial concerns and foster positive relationships for the duration of the contractual agreement with the university. | 15%
  • Create and maintain pro forma financial statements and working documents to record and track vendor financial obligations. | 15%
  • Analyze and reconcile financial statements from university business partners while accounting or processing university fund expenditures, revenues, and account balances. | 5%

Key Competencies:

  • Knowledge of financial/business analysis techniques.
  • Ability to develop, report, and communicate business performance metrics.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to develop working relationships with university constituents and service partners.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs, especially Excel for developing financial reports and analysis.
  • Be a proven self-starter with capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
