Kenvue is currently recruiting for Senior Automation Engineer. This position reports into Engineering Leader and is based at Lititz, PA.

What will you do The Sr. Automation Engineer will demonstrate a deep understanding of automation systems at the Lititz sites manufacturing and packaging assets. Will be responsible for leading strategic objectives to align with the site master plan and business continuity initiatives. Drives continuous improvement projects & system upgrades through development and socialization of robust capital requests. Ensures safety and quality compliance is incorporated in all automation activities and projects.

Responsibilities include, under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations, the Companies' policies, procedures and guidelines, this position:
- Defines technical direction of projects or programs
- Supports detailed automation road map which focuses on both asset stewardship and growth
- Collaborates with internal customers to prioritize resources and project implementation
- Provides technical expertise and resource support on quality issues and process problems
- Assures selected project technologies align with regional and global platform initiatives
- Leads the execution of projects towards critical final project objectives (FPO's)
- Drives innovative solutions in project delivery and/or technical field on plant level
- Partners with Maintenance and Facilities for ongoing up-skilling required to transfer system ownership
- Ensures standardized automation solutions for sustained maintenance support
- Develops course and fine screen review documentation for project justification
- Actively participates in NPI/NPD team to support volume insourcing as required
- Is an advocate of Safety by Partnering with EH&S from early project conception
Qualifications What we are looking for: Education: - A minimum BS/BA degree in directly related field (Engineering or related field)
Required: - At least 4 years of IT or Automation experience in a GMP manufacturing environment
- Portfolio and Project management skills
- Must possess specialized proficiency in PLC based control systems, SCADA systems and general automation systems
Preferred: - Strong understanding of Industrial networking including the following:
- Ethernet IP
- ControlNet
- Serial Communications
- Isolated Computing Environments (ICE Networks)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex automation software systems
- Capable of designing and modifying complex factory floor control systems
- Experience leading and directing Computer Systems Validation efforts
- Strictly adheres to procedural System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Track record for delivering technology projects as promised on time and on budget
- Retains conflict management, decision making and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skill at all levels of the organization, including Sr. management, peer group, team and shop floor associates
Other Requirements - This position may require up to 10% travel based on business needs.
