Design Engineer. The position is on-site, standard work week Monday-Friday.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Engineer with a strong background in design and a focus on pressure vessels to join our team. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for leading a team of design engineers and drafters, overseeing the design and development of pressure vessels, and ensuring compliance with ASME standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in pressure vessel design, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of design engineers and drafters in the design and development of pressure vessels, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the design team, including reviewing designs, troubleshooting technical issues, and offering solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
- Develop and maintain design standards, procedures, and best practices related to pressure vessel design, ensuring consistency and quality across projects.
- Conduct design reviews and participate in project meetings to provide input on design requirements, feasibility, and potential risks.
- Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analysis to verify the structural integrity and performance of pressure vessel designs.
- Interface with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements, address technical inquiries, and provide updates on project status.
- Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and regulatory changes related to pressure vessel design and ASME standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree or professional engineering license (PE) is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering design, with a focus on pressure vessels and ASME standards.
- Proven experience in leading design teams and overseeing the development of engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC), Section VIII, Division 1, and other relevant codes and standards.
- Proficiency in engineering design software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex engineering problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interface with clients and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy in engineering design and documentation.

Pay Details: $110,000.00 to $160,000.00 per year
