We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Intern to join our team and play a pivotal role in the creation of a new website from the ground up. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the planning, development, and implementation of a comprehensive online presence. The successful candidate will work closely with our marketing team and IT development team, contributing to various aspects of the website project.

What you will do for C&F:

Research and Analysis:

• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor websites, and target audience preferences
• Analyze data to inform decision-making processes for website design and content

Content Development:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging and relevant content for the website
• Assist in developing a content calendar and ensuring content aligns with the overall marketing strategy

SEO Optimization:

• Work on optimizing website content for search engines to enhance visibility
• Implement SEO best practices and stay updated on search engine algorithms

Social Media Integration:

• Integrate social media elements into the website design and content
• Collaborate on strategies to promote website content across social media platforms

User Experience (UX) and Design:

• Provide input on user interface design and user experience to enhance website usability
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure a visually appealing and user-friendly website

Project Management:

• Assist in coordinating tasks related to website development, working closely with cross-functional teams
• Monitor project timelines and contribute to meeting project milestones

What you will bring to C&F:

• Currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and various applications is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and tools
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and social media platforms
• Creative mindset with an eye for design and user experience

The hourly pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $15.00 to a maximum of $25.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range.
