Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Research Associate to join our team. As a Research Associate, you will play a crucial role in performing analytical method development, validation, and chemical analysis associated with material characterization. You will utilize a range of techniques including LC and GC with MS detection, and may also work with ICP-MS and wet chemical techniques. Your responsibilities will include independently executing analytical testing, designing and executing method validation studies, and contributing to analytical problem-solving efforts to meet urgent business needs. Additionally, you will collaborate with various cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure successful execution of analytical testing and study designs.
Responsibilities:
Independently execute analytical testing following written test procedures and study protocols.
Apply analytical separation and detection techniques for complex impurity identification/quantification.
Design and execute method validation and transfer studies.
Collaborate with other functions such as project management, regulatory, and quality control in project teams.
Maintain knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements related to R&D to ensure compliance in all research activities.
Provide expert advice on regulatory compliance and participate in the interpretation of regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or a relevant scientific discipline with 5-7 years of experience, or Master's degree with 3-5 years of experience, or PhD with 0-3 years of experience.
Proficient at GC/MS and LC/MS analysis.
Experience with analytical method development, validation, and transfer in pharmaceutical regulated laboratories.
Familiarity with ICH, USP guidelines, and cGxP practice.
Hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, UV, MassHunter, and other analytical instruments and software.
Ability to learn quickly and solve problems using analytical chemistry skills.
Excellent writing and computer skills.
Experience in working in global cross-functional teams and project management is a plus.
Quality-oriented with the ability to adapt to changes and work effectively in a team environment.
