Job description

Westside Ace Hardware in Santa Cruz, CA is looking for a friendly hardworking sales associate to join our team. We are located on 849 Almar Ave Ste D. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes customers by greeting them and offering them assistance.
• Directs customers by escorting them to our product.
• Advises customers by providing information on products.
• Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards.
• Use judgment to solve customer problems
• Maintains scheduling commitments
• Merchandise and stock product throughout the store

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Excellent verbal skills
• Able to problem solve as issues arise
• Can work quickly and efficiently
