Fixed-Plant Maintenance Superintendent - Alaska

Leading mid-tier precious metals producer who are already in well established production, requires experienced Maintenance Superintendent for their mine in Alaska.

Reporting to the Processing Manager, this role is to provide maintenance services for processing and surface production areas, and miscellaneous services to the mine site and whose primary focus is to maximise maintenance and process effectiveness in all facets of the operation. Ensuring maintenance activities are carried out in a safe, efficient, cost effective manner, consistent with acceptable standards, governing regulations and operational needs.

Successful candidate will be responsible for all fixed plant maintenance asset management. As such responsibilities include:

• Coordinate and Manage maintenance team.
• Plan and develop internal projects and team expertise.
• Manage maintenance projects inline with operational needs and government standards.
• Manage maintenance team admin roster, budget, etc.
• Safety - proactive involvement and clear commitment to safety and health initiatives, in accordance with the company's health and safety policy and guidelines.
• Ensure all activity are undertaken in accordance with company policy and MSHA requirements including hazard IDs, pre-start checks, pre-start meetings and incident reporting.
• Environmental - Operate and manage activities in line with company's policy to minimise pollution and waste.

As such, a seasoned Maintenance Superintendent is sought to relocate to Alaska - ideally on a NEGOTIABLE roster; this means you can live in other locations nearby as long as you can travel to work in a reasonable time.

Subsequently, candidates with USA work rights, or Canadian or Mexican citizens that have a minimum 10-15 years experience in mining operations, that want to be part of this exciting growth journey should also apply.
