Boston Scientific is seeking a talented individual for the role of Senior Graphic Designer & Content Specialist to support the creation of vital internal and external communication materials such as strategic plans, operating plans, investor slides, and business review decks for the Urology business. The ideal candidate should possess excellent design, communication, and management abilities, coupled with an understanding of the medical device industry. Working closely with global business leaders, this role offers high visibility within one of Boston Scientific's rapidly expanding divisions.

The Senior Graphic Designer & Content Specialist serves as a partner to the Urology business in developing compelling stories and visual assets to shape key presentations. These presentations will help to inform and inspire key internal and external audiences including other executives, investors, sales team members and customers. They must also be adept at simplifying complex concepts into clear and concise visual and written elements. Beyond passive involvement, the individual in this role actively offers recommendations on slides and talk tracks, collaborating with stakeholders from marketing, corporate communications, and other functions to understand, reinforce, and refine the narrative surrounding key divisional initiatives. 

Candidates will be asked to provide a presentation portfolio (PowerPoint) as part of the interview process.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conceptualize, create, design, and format critical internal and external communication materials.
• Collaborate with the strategy director, division president, members of the Urology management board, and regional leaders on the creation of the annual global strategic plan.
• Engage with Urology research and development leaders on the annual R&D strategic plan.
• Partner with the division president, strategy director, and investor relations on the development of slides for use with investors.
• Assist in the development of the annual operating plan.
• Provide comprehensive support across the team's general workflow.
• Foster strong and effective relationships with critical business leaders and functions.
• Translate complex business ideas and data into clear and compelling visual stories.
• Manage work under pressure and under deadline with senior leaders, handling a wide range of tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Independently track down visual assets within the organization, partnering with Marketing, Finance, and R&D, and suggest/create new visual assets as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of experience in a design role.
• Experience working with executive leaders.
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Expert in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated experience managing priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience adhering to brand guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of both contemporary design principles and presentation design strategies.
• Experience managing external agencies and/or freelancers.

Preferred Qualifications and Competencies: 

• M.F.A. or other advanced degree.
• Agency experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and written skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Exceptional eye for design and aesthetics to create well-thought-out presentations.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Agility and flexibility to turnaround work quickly without compromise to quality.
