Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings and screenings to assess oral health.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
• Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants as needed.
• Take and develop dental x-rays for diagnostic purposes.
• Assist dentists during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
• Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate dental records.
• Conduct periodontal charting and assess for signs of gum disease.
• Collaborate with other members of the dental team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Stay updated on industry developments and participate in continuing education opportunities.
