Responsibilities:
- Provide CADD drafting and design support for the Company during the planning, design, and construction of typical civil engineering projects.
- Develop, modify, and/or review drawings according to Company standards.
- Review all work for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting for review.
- Set up backgrounds, schedules, plan sets and details.
- Transpose mark-ups onto drawings.
- Quality control, check and plot drawings.
- Update contract drawings/specifications.
- Update master schedules and details.
- Assist in the rollout of Company standards.
- May occasionally be required to work in the field.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience or be willing to learn:
- Designing and reviewing drawings in AutoCAD
- Applying company standards to drawings
- Structural building modeling
- Quality control, check and plot drawings
This opportunity requires:
Education
- Associate of Science degree in Computer Aided Drafting and/or equivalent experience required.
