Job Description:
We are seeking an MDM Workspace Administrator to oversee and maintain our Mobile Device Management (MDM) environment. As an MDM Workspace Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the configuration, deployment, and ongoing support of mobile devices within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and deploy mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.) using MDM solutions.
- Manage user accounts, profiles, and permissions within the MDM environment.
- Monitor device compliance and security settings to ensure data protection and regulatory compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MDM configurations, device connectivity, and application functionality.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate MDM solutions with other systems and applications.
- Provide user training and support for MDM-related tasks and applications.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to mobile device management and security.
- Implement and enforce MDM policies and procedures to maintain a secure and efficient mobile environment.
- Perform regular audits and assessments of the MDM environment to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Document MDM configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for reference and training purposes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, such as VMware Workspace ONE, Microsoft Intune, or MobileIron.
- Strong understanding of mobile device platforms (iOS, Android) and their security features.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with network protocols, encryption standards, and mobile device security best practices.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Mobility+, MDM vendor certifications) are desirable but not required.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment..
