B&N Senior Traffic Engineer Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide technical support on traffic study and/or design projects in Ohio and nationwide
- As part of a project team, collaborate on plan production to produce high quality plans, specifications that follow agency standards and guidelines for signal, signing and striping, and traffic control plans for ODOT and Ohio local governments
- Train, coach, and mentor junior traffic staff in developing and delivering projects
- Develop signal, signing and striping, and traffic control plans for ODOT and Ohio local governments
- Manage and coordinate project drawings using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD software
- Opportunity to support design efforts nationwide
- Work collaboratively with project and design team to lead and develop project deliverables to meet project objectives and schedule

Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil engineering program
- 15+ years of related Traffic experience, prior experience with ODOT and/or local agencies preferable
- PE registration required in the State of Ohio, or ability to be registered through US reciprocity, Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) preferred
- Previous project management experience desired
- Proven verbal, presentation, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Bluebeam/Adobe Pro, AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is required
- Ability to learn, understand and improve in-house systems
- Strong communication skills, quality control, and organization skills are essential to the success of this role.
- Desire and ability to work in a group setting and to mentor junior staff members
