The role you will play:
- Demonstrate clinical expertise and utilizes advanced assessment skills to propose intervention and/or action plan utilizing evidence-based research to achieve positive outcomes for the oncology patient, their families, and significant others.
- Provide individualized and culturally appropriate health promotion and oncology care based on age, learning theory, epidemiological principles, and developmental levels, learning needs, readiness, and the ability to learn.
- Coordinates and participates in the development of evidenced-based practice protocols and standards of care that include interventions and treatments to achieve desired outcomes, including clinical, financial, and patient/family satisfaction.
- Analyzes patterns of variance in practice making recommendations for evidence-based changes to improve patient outcomes utilizing a multidisciplinary approach.
Background Profile:
- Must have or seriously willing to obtain NJ Registered Nurse and APN license.
- At least 3+ years of Oncology Nurse Practitioner experience
- At least 3+ years of oncology clinical experience working with research patients.
- Strongly prefer experience with medical oncology, solid tumors - GU, GI, Breast, Lung.
