Job description
Description:
• Provide guidance re. utilization of inventory of standard items to avoid depletion to zero;
• Manage processes to minimize waste and maximize material reutilization;
• Continually monitor production activities for maximum safety and to identify immediate remedial action to address safety concerns;
• Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines;
• Inspect in-production workstations weekly for quality performance before QC dept to prevent rework;
Preferred Experience:
1. Past experience in commercial woodworking (doors, millwork, cabinets, windows.)
2. Past experience in construction
3. General knowledge of building materials
4. Can perform simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Experience – Carpentry, machinery, general maintenance – must know how to use a tape measurer.
