Job description

 An outstanding acute care hospital in the greater Washington, DC Metro Area is actively seeking an Emergency Services Nurse Director to join their exceptional team! 

The Emergency Services Nurse Director will ideally have their Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and 5 years of experience in progressive care management.  The Emergency Services RN Director will enjoy a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays!

The Emergency Services Nurse Director will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer.  The RN Director will assist the CNO in overseeing resources, strategic planning and creating policies to align with the health system’s mission.  It will be the responsibility of the Emergency Services Nurse Director to have 24-hour responsibility for the service area, managing administrative and financial aspects, including planning, staffing and coordination.  The RN director will oversee a 50+ bay ER and 3 manager direct reports.
