Ascension Global Staffing and Executive Search has teamed up with our Am Law 200 client in search of a Medical Malpractice/ Healthcare Defense Partner. Our client, a national law firm with more than 20 offices in 10 states, has an immediate opportunity for a Medical Malpractice Associate to join one of their New York offices.

• Qualified candidates will have 8+ years of medical malpractice  experience (defense side) that includes taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, and preparing for arbitrations, mediations and trial.
• The ideal candidate writes effectively, thinks strategically, and has practiced in one or more areas of civil litigation, such as healthcare, professional liability, and/or insurance defense.
• Experience in the long term care/ nursing home industry is highly  preferred .
• Portable book is a plus but not required
  THE BENEFITS
  The annualized salary range for this position is $150,000 - $240,000. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law. This position also offers bonuses, and a full benefits package.
