Job description
The Program Manager is responsible for the overall project management function, providing leadership, coordination, and management of the program activities. Their duties will include but are not limited to Vendor management, coordination, project management, diversity KPIs (for the vendors), vendor bids, corporate alliance work, quarterly business reviews, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (minimum, Bachelor's degree) in a relevant field from an accredited university.
- Experience managing, designing, implementing, and evaluating large-scale, cross-functional projects working seamlessly with various stakeholders in a matrix organization.
- Thorough understanding of budgeting, project management, and resource management.
- Strong negotiation, facilitation, and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Customer and results-oriented.
- Capable of developing solutions to complex, integrated business problems.
- Extensive knowledge of project management tools and methodologies; extensive experience with using relevant project management and business management computer software.
- Ability to influence executive-level associates and bring issues to resolution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing technical projects.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's or eqiuvalent.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
- Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
