An Avionics Technician IV job is available with our client in Hagerstown, MD. In this role you will be responsible for moderately complex installation, testing, troubleshooting and repair of avionics components, and maintenance of test equipment, tools, and manuals. To be considered for this role, you will have a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience.
Avionics Technician IV Job Duties:
- Responsible for moderately complex installation.
- Testing, troubleshooting and repair of avionics components.
- Maintenance of test equipment, tools, and manuals.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience.
- Ability to understand and interpret basic applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings.
- Advanced skills with moderately complex avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering' and crimping techniques.
- Must pass, written, oral and practical assessments.
- Must have own tools in good working order.
- Tools will need to be shadowed and inventoried in toolbox.
